Original Control

Nothing of me is original. I am the combined effort of everybody I’ve ever known. Every person I’ve met inputs his/her perspective and experience directly into my character, “experience”, and even style. Me being as silly as I am ignorant try to achieve originality through divergence, that being me doing the things opposite to what I should’ve done according to the inputs. And that is as original as a negative eight when the normal answer would have been EIGHT!

After some thought I discovered that I am putting the inverter in the wrong part of the control system which is my brain. I invert the output, because I can’t invert the input, and hence I try to achieve a different output from a single input which has to be highly correlated (i.e. unoriginal!)

But recently I discovered what my equation was missing , I was missing the other previous outputs which highly affect the output in question , it’s a “closed loop” whether we like it or not. So if I inverted some previous outputs that can stand for morals traditions or even personal needs and ambitions, the input will drive a vaguely uncorrelated output from a now unstable closed loop, which can be considered being original.

This is very tricky, since once you invert/unsystematicly change your old outputs, the inverted ones will now become your “normal” outputs after insuring a single loop resulting in a single spike of originality, before retaining your “normal” stable output. And even that is hard, I am talking about making the biggest mistake you can think of and waiting for your life to change, to see what you’ll never do and plan on doing it, going to discover the new America even if you and everybody else think you’re crazy (Christopher Columbus), and even if you didn’t know that there was an America, even one to be discovered. And what can be less original than actually finding one.

Don't do what you want. Do what you don't want. Do what you're trained not to want. Do the things that scare you the most.

Originality is dead they say, and it could be since there are only so many combinations of previous outputs that can ever be re-inputted into the system and yield a different result. And people's "spikes" are so close together and correlated that the resulting signal is "continuously" boring and unoriginal.
